Thank you for choosing ABSS. To ensure compliance with the latest security standards and system performance, please be informed that all older software versions will be decommissioned by 30 June 2026.
Why are these versions no longer supported?
• Older technical framework
These versions were built on older technology that no longer works reliably with modern operating systems, the latest compliance framework and environments.
• End of Life
As part of the natural software lifecycle, these legacy versions have reached a point at which further updates and improvements are no longer feasible.
• Higher Security Standards
New operating systems and security requirements mean older versions can no longer meet today’s security protocols and expectations.
• New Compliance Requirements
Modern compliance needs, such as real-time validation and digital reporting features, require newer software capabilities that legacy versions cannot support.
Affected Versions:
• MYOB Accounting v24.2 and below
• MYOB Premier v19.2 and below
• MYOB Premier Plus v19.2 and below
Impact on your business:
From 30 June 2026, the activation server for older versions will be shut down. If you do not upgrade before this date, your data files will become "Read-Only" after the next confirmation cycle:
• Datafile Becomes "Read-Only:
After the next confirmation cycle, you will no longer be able to create or edit transactions in the older versions.
• Historical Data Only:
You can still reference past information, but the software will no longer support ongoing business operations.
• Unable to activate new files:
You will be unable to complete the online activation process for any newly created company files. After the trial period expires, these files will automatically switch to "Read-Only" mode.
